things are going too fast... and i love tom stoppard.

First of all... I found a hilarious Ikea ad online... I died laughing when i saw it (i didn't actually die though, so you can all relax!)
here's the link:

Ok, do you ever feel like things are going way too fast? I do. I feel like I'm on some crazy ride that is "highschool" thats getting faster and faster and whizzing by all these fun times. And I want it to slow down, I want to get off the ride and live in the moment but I can't. It all just flies by. I'm going to miss my highschool days so much, I know already. But at the end of this ride things start to go downhill, and times aren't all fun or as fun as they once were and the ride gets crappier. And It makes me want to move on, because things aren't like they were a year ago. It makes me tired of the ride and ready to move on to something new. I guess its that way on purpose... so we're always moving forward.

Anyways, enough of that philisophical crap.

Part DeuX: I love Tom Stoppard. This man is a genius. Yes, I may have only read two of his plays (R&G are dead, and The Real Inspector Hound) but they are absolutely hilarious. They are exactly my type of humour. R&G is filled with all these absurd, thought-provoking ideas that I think of all the time (but have learned to keep to myself less i be committed to a mental institution... for further info ask me to explain how colours are not really the colour we may think they are...)

Anyways, the new addition to my goals in life is to act in one of his plays. and probably read all of his works too... the man is genius.

random--yet important--phone call

ok... so windsor just called. yea. the university of windsor.

the call display just had long distance call on it, so i knew it wasn't for me so i answered in a bored voice: "hello."

and they reply: "hi! i'm part of the Drama program at the University of Windsor!!"

and i reply, it a much more happy tone: "Oh! Hiiiiiii!" <---I sounded dumb and I knew it.

and they reply: "Ok, so I can tell you're excited to be part of the Drama community at Windsor do you-

I interrupt: "Yes!" <--- Stupid! Stop talking, eric.

and they continue: "ok... uhm do you have any questions about blah blah blah" and so on...

I was totally not expecting this. it was weird. and in the back of my mind i thought it might be some sort of "first impression test" to weed out the losers. so i convinced myself that i had to ask some question or else it would seem like i didn't care... hi. i'm eric. i overanalyze things. i'm aware, thank you... so i asked stupid questions that i already knew the answer to like how long our monologues had to be and what we would be doing the whole day. Stupid. So if they're going by this first impression test---which yes, i know they're not---i've already failed. I just couldn't think of anything to say... it was so unexpected... so kiersten be warned... a call may be on its way if it hasn't already been sent.

On the positive side of things: I got my report card today, and things are looking impressive. scholarship $$$ here i come.

PS> Sorry for the boringness of this post, but, its all i got.

i do what i'm told... when i want to anyways.

So Kiersten informed me of the blogging world on the way home today, and told me that I should join in. So I did. because I do everything Kiersten tells me to. Why do you think I'm her friend? Because she tells me to. If she didn't I would avoid her like Herpes (i'm leaving that open for smartass remarks from Andrew and Liam. go wild.)

Kiersten, I'm kidding. So stop giving me that "evil look".

So yes, I am now an official member of the blogging world. I understand its a necessity for University students? So I'm really just preparing myself, in any way that i can.

I can say now though, just in warning, that my blogs probably won't be very frequent, or very long for that matter, just like this one. I really only joined to comment, and keep in touch with the coolest kids ever: The Playmakerites, Playmakerians or something like that. (We definately need to work on a better name)

And that is my legendary first blog. It feels good to talk about nothing.
